La carrera por el Ártico: cuestiones de Derecho Internacional surgidas a la luz del cambio climático

Es un proyecto de investigación financiado por el Ministerio de Educación, Cultura y Deporte (MEC2012-36026).

Dirigido por la Dra. Elena Conde Pérez, consta de 10 investigadores y tiene como objetivo el estudio sistematico de la perspectivas jurídicas que en el Ártico ha provocado el deshielo originado por el cambio climático, particularmente en la aplicación del Convenio de Naciones Unidas sobre Derecho del Mar (CMNUDM, 1982).

"The race for the Arctic: International Law issues considering climate change" (Reference num. DER2012-36026) is a research project funded by the Spanish Ministry of Education (MEC). Lead researcher Dr. Elena Conde Pérez, 10 researchers.

Its main objective is to study the interaction of International Law with a melting Arctic and the main regional changes occurring due to climate change in the Arctic region, with a particular attention for the application of the UN Law of the Sea Convention (UNCLOS, 1982).
