Mérida, Mexico – Professor Juan Antonio Recio-García (Complutense University of Madrid) organized the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence for Mental Health (ICAIMH 2025) this summer at the Anáhuac Mayab University in Mérida, Yucatán.

The conference brought together more than 100 participants and 15 speakers of different nationalities to explore the advances of AI in mental health. Attendees participated in sessions on AI-powered diagnostic tools, conversational agents, mental health prediction, and pattern identification.

The event featured keynote presentations such as "When the Mind Meets the Algorithm: AI and the Future of Mental Health" and presentations on anxiety detection, suicide pattern analysis, and therapeutic chatbot development.

The papers will be published in peer-reviewed journals, consolidating the academic impact of the event, which brought together researchers, psychologists, and AI experts from around the world.
