It examines the current areas of tension between "state, market and civil society" and analyses the three major highways leading to the present - state, capitalism and modernity.

It addresses the new political forms and the overcoming of the limitations of modern thought, and the transterritorialisation of social flows that we know as globalisation, from critical perspectives that question the compatibility between the neoliberal model and the construction of democratic societies, and the impact generated by technological media.
