- GLAM Data Lab–CM. GLAM Data Lab–CM is an inter-institutional laboratory dedicated to the research, creation, management and re-use of data from galleries, libraries, archives and museums in the Community of Madrid. It promotes collaboration between universities, cultural institutions and technology providers through methodologies in the digital humanities, artificial intelligence, open science and data visualisation. A platform for research, experimentation and knowledge transfer on cultural data from the Community of Madrid.
- Game Studies & Playable Culture–CM. A group dedicated to the study of video games and playful cultures as cultural, narrative, artistic and computational objects. The Digital Humanities contribute to the analysis, documentation, preservation and critical understanding of video games as a contemporary cultural form.
- Interaction & Immersive Media–CM. A group dedicated to researching new forms of interaction between people, information, spaces and digital systems. Interfaces, interactive systems and immersive environments are transforming our relationship with knowledge, culture and heritage.
- New Media Theory & Digital Cultures–CM. This working group offers a theoretical and critical reflection on the digital transformation of culture. Not all Digital Humanities research need be focused on building tools. It is also necessary to critically analyse the media, infrastructures and technologies that are transforming our culture. New media, platforms, algorithms and artificial intelligence are transforming the ways in which we produce, distribute and experience culture.
