The Nodo CLARIAH-CM took part in the Conference on Games (CoG) and the Congreso Español del Videojuego (CEV), which took place at the Faculty of Ciencias de la Información at the Complutense University of Madrid on 1, 2, 3 and 4 September (CoG) and, concurrently, on 3 and 4 September (CEV).

The CoG was very well received internationally, attracting over 275 attendees. Similarly, the CEV was a great success at a national level, with over 50 registered participants. The conferences were held concurrently and shared plenary sessions, thereby promoting the internationalisation of Spanish research.

These conferences provide a forum where researchers and professionals come together to exchange ideas on games, which brings together disciplines such as design, AI, human-computer interaction, psychology, education, sociology and creativity. Further information on the event can be found here.

This event would not have been possible without the support provided by the Nodo CLARIAH-CM and its postdoctoral researcher, Irene Camps Ortueta, who carried out organisational tasks for the CoG (Local Chair) and the CEV (Programme Committee) and was in charge of one of the few outreach sessions at the CEV, during which she presented the Nodo CLARIAH-CM and introduced it to the researchers attending the Congress.

You can find the programmes for both events here (CoG) and here (CEV).
