CLARIAH-CM node organized the course “Digital Social Sciences and Humanities in Open Science: The Power of Managing Your Data” on July 21-22. Experts Maite Melero (BSC), Pilar Rico Castro (FECYT), Elea Giménez Toledo (CSIC), Esther Las Heras Navarro (UCM Library), Elena Battaner Moro (URJC), and Amelia Sanz Cabrerizo (UCM) discussed the need to implement open science policies, particularly in data management following FAIR principles. Key topics included open science in the age of AI, fostering an accessible and transparent research environment through Diamond Open Access and platforms like OPERAS, and applying FAIR principles using CLARIN and DARIAH tools.
