With the purpose of cataloging the nighttime images file of the International Space Station, Complutense researchers have developed a science project with over 1,700 nocturnal worldwide images for the use of the media, public and scientist.

The website of the project has been translated into 13 languages and counts on other agencies and organizations contribution, such as MediaLab-Prado, the Spanish Network for Research in Light Pollution, the Crowdcrafting website, the European research network “Loss of the Night”, the Celfosc association and the AstroMadrid network.

This project was carried out thanks to the images taken by the astronauts Soichi, Haldfield, Kupiers, Fyodor, Pettit and Parmitano and the international cooperation.
