Eduardo Guisasola successfully defended his PhD thesis entitled "Nanocarriers for antitumoral therapy based on mesoporous silica nanoparticles"

In this thesis, different approaches to drug delivery systems were studied:

 ​- ​Drug release assisted by alternating magnetic fields through magnetic mesoporous silica nanoparticles coated with thermosensitive polymers.

 ​- ​The in‐situ generation of cytotoxic agents by using a prodrug/enzyme tandem​.​

 ​ - ​Green polidopamine nanocapsules formation by using mesoporous silica nanoparticles as a template.
