21st November 2022: UCM venue.

  • 14:30-15:00. Keynote and welcome remarks on "Urban Heritage" (Maria Gravari Barbas, UP1). Facultad de Geografía e Historia. Salón de Actos.
  • 15:00-16:00. Keynote on "Historic Urban Landscape" (Prof. Fausto Cardoso and Prof. Alicia M. Tenze, University of Cuenca, Ecuador) Facultad de Geografía e Historia. Salón de Actos.
  • 16:30-18:30. Evening tour around Ciudad Universitaria (Prof. Carolina Rodríguez and Prof. Santiago López Rios, UCM).

22nd November 2022: Fieldwork.

  • 9:00-11:30. Visit Prado+Retiro world heritage site, (Monica Luengo_Chair of the WHS Candidature of Madrid)
  • 11:30-14:00. Keynote on "Cultural Districts" (Prof. Diego Barrado_UAM). Ecoo co-working space (Lavapiés).

  • 15:00-18:00. Tour around the historic centre of Madrid (Prof. Maria García and Hector Aliaga, doctoral student, UCM)

23rd November 2022: Fieldwork.

  • 9:30-12:00. Keynote on "Heritage in the urban peripheries" (Prof. Dominique Vaneste, KU Keuven). La N@ve (Villaverde district)
  • 12:30-14:00. Visit Usera District Town Council.
  • 14:00-15:30. Lunch at a Chinese restaurant.
  • 15:30-18:30. Tour around Usera (Guillermo de Torres Suárez, Espacio Oculto, Usera).

24th November 2022: UCM venue.
