Fifteen lectures by leading specialists on Roman public spaces and, in particular, on the forum of Segobriga, dealt with fundamental questions for understanding the functioning of these public places. The analysis of some Hispanic case studies, with a greater prominence of the forum of Segobriga, has shown the diversity of its architecture, the stages of construction and its development from the Late Antique period onwards. The final event of the meeting took place at the archaeological site of Segobriga with a visit to the forensic complex and the archaeological evidence preserved in situ, where attendees had the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the characteristics of its square, porticoes and religious and legal-administrative buildings, as well as the ornamental and epigraphic programmes.
