Mandatory documents

THE GENERAL AND SPECIFIC DOCUMENTS LISTED BELOW ARE MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS. FAILURE TO SUBMIT ANY OF THESE DOCUMENTS WILL RESULT IN EXCLUSION FROM THE ADMISSION PROCESS.

General mandatory documentation required by the UCM and the EDUCM:

• National Identity Card (DNI) or passport
• Qualifying degree or official recognition of the degree (Master's degree or equivalent)
• Academic transcript for Master's studies (or equivalent)
• Academic transcript for Bachelor's, Licenciatura, or equivalent studies

• In the case of an application under the exceptional admission procedure, the documentary evidence confirming that an application for the corresponding employment contract or scholarship has been formally submitted must be provided together with the other required documentation.

Additional mandatory documentation required by the Doctoral Programme:

• SUPPORTING STATEMENT FROM THE RESEARCHER who undertakes to host the doctoral researcher and act as Thesis Supervisor, if admitted [RESEARCHER SUPPORTING STATEMENT TEMPLATE]
• Motivation letter from the applicant, to assess their interest in research and their suitability for the research line of the Doctoral Programme to which they intend to join. The letter must include a brief summary of the proposed thesis project, outlining the general aspects of the work to be undertaken.
