NANOCAPSULE COMPOSITIONS FOR THE CONTROLLED RELEASED OF AGENT OF THERAPEUTIC INTEREST

Fórmula I de la nanocapsula

RESUMEN

The present invencion provides sustained release polymeric nanocapsules capable of releasing proteases such as collagenase with a controlled kinetic and a prolonged and sustainable effect over tine (up to more than 10 days). Additionally, these nanocapsules protect the housed protease, preferably collagenase, against external aggressions maintaining its catalytic activity. In this way, this invention overcomes the currents problems associated with collagenase administration using a precise combination of monomers and cross-linkers, as described in the claims that allow the formation of degradable polymeric nanocapsules with collagenase embedded within. these capsules provide a sustained release of the housed enzyme thus provideing a therapeutic improvement in comparison to current therapies thus decreasing the need for repeated injections or high collagenase doses.

SECTOR DE LA TÉCNICA

The invention relates to the field of nanocapsule compositions capable of releasing agents of therapeutic interest with a controlled kinetic and a prolonged and sustainable effect over time, uses thereof, and methods for preparing the same. The nanocapsule compositions of the present invention are adaptable to encapsulate agents of therapeutic interest, including macromolecules such as collagenase.
