Isabel María Moreno Cuadrado
I completed a double degree in Mathematics and Computer Science (2019–2024) at the University of Granada (UGR). During my final undergraduate year, I held a collaboration grant working on distribution theory and its potential connections with neural networks.
After graduating, I decided to focus on pure mathematics. I completed an MSc in Pure Mathematics at the Complutense University of Madrid, where I studied the Bohnenblust–Hille inequality and its applications in learning theory under the supervision of David Pérez and Carlos Palazuelos, supported by a JAE Intro research grant from the CSIC.
Thanks to several research fellowships, including a research stay at the DIPC, the Severo Ochoa fellowship at ICMAT, the PI3 scholarship at IMUS, and the Blas Cabrera fellowship at UIMP, I discovered that I truly enjoy research.
I have now joined the MathQI group as a PhD student under the supervision of David Pérez-García and Carlos Palazuelos, where I study functional analysis and problems in quantum information theory, such as position-based verification, using analytical tools.
