This MA offers three compulsory subjects (24 credits) and the rest are elective subjects (36 credits) that have to be taken so as to obtain the 60 credits of the MA.

• Academic research skills (6 credits)
• Final MA dissertation (TFM) (12 credits)

For the academic year 2026-2027, the elective subjects offered are the following:

• Advanced Topics in English Semantics and Pragmatics (new subject)
• Critical Discourse Analysis
• English as an International Language
• External Internship
• Linguistic Aspects of Audiovisual Translation (AVT)
• Seminar in Applied Linguistics (Applied Phonetics) (new subject)
• Seminar in Intercultural Studies
• Sociolinguistics Applied to the English Language
• Statistical Applications in English Linguistics
• Studies in Functional Linguistics Applied to the English Language (new subject)

MLINACI students will have to enroll in the three compulsory subjects and in six of the elective subjects listed above.
