This seminar was the kick of meeting of the research and teaching innovation project that, explores the use of photovoice as a tool to analyze social conflicts from an international and interdisciplinary perspective. Through collaboration between professors and students from various fields and countries, photovoice provides a comparative understanding of common issues, using visual expression for analysis.
The project involves 49 participants from 9 countries, including Belgium,United States, United Kingdom, Denmark, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Portugal, and Thailand. Photovoice (VOICE: Voicing Our Individual and Collective Experience) is a participatory research-action strategy that utilizes photography for social change. By sharing images and stories, participants offer diverse perspectives on social realities, fostering understanding and potentially influencing policy reform.
