Human Rights and Conflict Resolution at University

As part of Science Week 2025, DRLab hosted an event titled Human Rights and Conflict Resolution at University on 13 November at the Faculty of Social Work at the Complutense University of Madrid.

During the event, university students presented their photovoices, using images and narratives to analyse how they perceive and experience human rights within the university environment. These exhibitions and screenings created a space for dialogue, critical reflection, and shared learning about the current challenges relating to rights and coexistence.

The event featured Aura Morales, Adrián Soto and Carla Cubillos, who were part of the jury responsible for evaluating the submissions and awarding the prizes. Their involvement helped to highlight the quality, commitment and creativity of the students proposals.

Open to students at various educational levels and the general public, the event has established itself as an open forum for exchange and raising awareness. Through this initiative, DRLab reaffirms its commitment to promoting a culture of peace and collaborative conflict management, as well as participatory methodologies that empower students to become active agents of change.
