Our Research

  • Mitogen activated protein kinases (MAPKs)
  • Reactive Oxygen (ROS) and Nitrogen Species (RNS)
  • Non-alcoholic steatohepatitis(NASH)
  • Drug-induced liver injury (DILI)
  • Alcoholic liver disease (ALD)
  • Chronic liver disease (CLD)
  • Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC)
  • Gallbladder disorders

Findings

  • Hepatocyte Jnk1 and Jnk2 exert combined effects in protecting against toxic liver injury.
  • Jnk1 in bone marrow derived cells mediates liver regeneration.
  • Hematopoietic cells-derived Jnk1 triggers chronic inflammation and end-stage carcinogenesis
  • Jnk1 in hepatic stellate cells is a crucial mediator of hepatic inflammation.
