Ana Mateos Maroto was born in 1990 in Madrid (Spain) and is currently PhD student at the Chemical Physics Department at the University Complutense of Madrid (UCM) under the supervision of Prof. Francisco Ortega Gómez and Dr. Fernando Martínez Pedrero. Her work is focused on the development of new platforms for encapsulation and transport of active compounds, and their characterization from a physico-chemical perspective.
