A day to celebrate: a new PhD in our research group

Today we are delighted to share very special news and a great source of pride for our research group: the PhD thesis defense of Dr. Celia Álvarez González, entitled:

“Study and intensification of the enzymatic hydrolysis of cellulose derived from agri-food residues under transport considerations”

The thesis was defended on January 29th, 2026 and was awarded Cum Laude, in recognition of its scientific excellence, methodological rigor, and the sustained effort behind years of dedicated work.
