Claudia Finotelli

Ph.D., holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Münster (Germany). She was Ramón y Cajal Research Fellow between 2010 and 2015 and is currently Associate Professor at Department of Applied Sociology at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Her research interests cover the areas of migration control, integration policies and citizenship in comparative perspective with a special focus on Southern Europe.

 

She participated in the international projects LAB-MIG-GOV on the governance of labour migration in Europe (2010-2012), WORK-INT on the enhancement of immigrants’ integration in workplaces (2013-2015)  and TEMPER on the transitions form temporary to permanent migration (2014-2018). She is currently research associate of the International Forum of Research on Migration in Turin (Italy). Between 2006 and 2016 she was research associate of the Instituto Universitario Ortega y Gasset (Madrid) as well as visiting fellow at the Department of Political Science of the University of Toronto (2010 y 2011), at the Department of Social Research at the University of Trento (2011) and at the Department of Sociology at Trinity College in Dublín (2016).
