MOLECULAR AND FUNCTIONAL IMMUNOGENETICS
Research Lines
1. Impact of ncHLAII variation on health and disease.
Guided by molecular insights (1.1) we reconstitute models to test the impact of ncMHCII gene variants on protein function (1.2). This knowledge can be then used to define CD4+ T cell epitopes from different sources (1.3).
2. MHCII skewing in health, disease and therapies.
We study antigen-specific CD4+ T cell activation (2.1), access and expand relevant clones (2.2) to better understand disease and enable therapies.
