The Spanish Eupillar Seminar 2016 was held at Complutense University of Madrid

The opening session of the seminar, which took place the 2nd of June 2016, was attended by Mr. Francisco Marín Castán, President of the Spanish Supreme Court Civil Chamber, who presented the lecture Spanish Supreme Court practice in the application of the EU Regulations of Private International Law.
During the meeting, academics, experts, judges and lawyers had the opportunity to discuss the main challenges related to the administration of civil justice in the European Union. The lectures and presentations were introduced in several panels on procedural and law applicable issues in civil and commercial matters and family law issues (matrimonial crisis and minors).
Professor Carmen Otero García-Castrillón, introduced the first results of the research that she is conducting in Spain in the context of the Eupillar project, and that focused on the Spanish practice in cross-border litigation in civil and commercial matters and family law crisis situations.
