Background

Degree in Geology at the University Complutense of Madrid. PhD Thesis (2008) at the same institution, focused on the Middle-Late Permian rocks in the Iberian Ranges, Spain. The stay-abroad was with Dr. Greg J. Retallack in Eugene (University of Oregon, USA) and with Dr. Nathan D. Sheldon in London (Royal Holloway, U.K.). Main research focuses on the paleosols and the sedimentology of the Permian and Triassic continental rocks. From 2009 works as Teaching fellow in the Departamento de Estratigrafía, teaching different courses including Geological Cartography, GIS and Remote Sensing, Introduction to Field Geology and Degree Final Proyect. Recently has started his colaboration with the international publication Journal of Iberian geology as Editor Assistant.
