Preparing the CirCoCreation Exhibition at UCM

19 JUN 2026 - 12:11 CET

Olga Kisseleva and members of research team of UCM from the CirCoCreation project met at the Complutense University of Madrid to advance the preparation of the art exhibition that will take place at UCM in 2028. The meeting focused on developing a workshop to develop the exhibition concept under a co-creation process. We have identified potential artworks ideas and activities, and exploring ways to engage students, professors and citizens in the creative process.

Inspired by The Path of the Rs, participants discussed how the principles of Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repair, Recover, and Recycle can be translated into artistic narratives and interactive experiences. The exhibition will form part of the project activity Creatively Repurposing Recycled Materials in an Artistic Context with Citizens, which aims to raise awareness of Urban Circular Construction and Infrastructure (UCCI) through creativity, participation, and community engagement.

The exhibition will showcase artworks co-created by Olga Kisseleva using reclaimed and recycled materials, highlighting the role of culture and collective action in fostering more circular and sustainable societies.
