Professors Carlos Negro and Angeles Blanco from UCM took part in CHISA 2026, the international conference on chemical engineering held in Prague from 23 to 27 August 2026.

During the conference, the poster "Redesigning construction materials using hot-pressed reinforced papers", related to the CirCoCreation project, was presented, showcasing research carried out within the project on the development of innovative and more sustainable construction materials.

The presentation provided an opportunity to share CirCoCreation latest results with the international scientific community and to exchange knowledge with researchers working on circular economy, sustainable materials and innovative processing technologies.

Participation in CHISA 2026 contributes to the dissemination of the project research and to strengthening collaboration towards more circular and sustainable solutions for the construction sector.
