- My PhD main subject is lichen ecophysiology in Subantarctic / Antarctic areas.
- Lab work consisted on plant gas-exchange quantification; plant fluorescence yield analysis; DNA sequencing; and spectrophotometric techniques.
- Field work consisted on ecological studies and microclimatic monitoring.

- Master thesis in biology. Usnea in the subantarctic tundra of Navarino Island (Tierra del Fuego, Chile): an ecological approach to Neuropogon group. UCM, Madrid, 2011.
- Degree thesis in biology: Effects of greater and prolonged snow cover on N content and phenology of two tundra shrubs (Salix glauca and Betula nana). Umeå Universitet, Sweden, 2006.
