My scientific interest is linked to the Biology and Conservation of terrestrial vertebrates, especially, mammals and birds. This is the reason why I collaborate in this group, to study and monitor certain populations through scientific banding or placement of nest boxes.

My expectations are focused in the study of bats acorss indirect metodology such as acoustic identification by recording ultrasounds and their subsequent analysis . Chiroptera are the second largest group of mammals and the only one which fly and they have been affected in their interaction with human, therefore, i am worried about the knowledge of their distribution, characterization and selection of habitat, as well as the fragmentation and alteration of it.

I am also interested in techniques for monitoring vertebrate populations, like camera trapping.
