Complutense Latin-American School celebrates its first ten years in 2016
2 dic 2016 - 14:16 CET
The Escuela Complutense Latinoamericana, ECL, (Complutense Latin-American School) celebrates in 2016 its first ten years of existence. During this time, over 7000 students of 38 nationalities have attended to some of the 268 courses taught by over 1100 Professors in 12 Latin American Universities of six Countries. The results of the satisfaction surveys are impressive because they overpass 90% for students and 84% for professors. In the celebration ceremony, Prof. Maria Vallet-Regi, one of the most outstanding Complutense Professors who taught several ECL Courses, talked on behalf of the Professors. She told that she has participated in the ECL always that was possible for her, for many reasons, highlighting the students that “are always willing and eager to learn" and because these Courses allow to teach to very diverse people, "which is a very enriching experience". Another reason is the contact with the Professors of the host Universities, which is not only produces many professional and scientific collaborations, but "they become in in many cases in friends for life." Finally, ECL is an excellent opportunity to meet and live with other Complutense Professors, which given the enormous size of our University is difficult to do in Madrid. <vídeo>
