Candidates are sought for a four-year Ph.D. fellowship (FPI contract) in the Statistical Physics Group at the University of Extremadura (SPhinX), Badajoz, Spain. 

The fellowship is financed by the Spanish MINECO and is associated with the Research Grant FIS2016-76359-P:

A statistical physics approach to disordered and complex systems

• Gross salary: 1,368 euro/month
• Additional funding for research visits to other institutions and attendance to conferences
• Requirement: Master Degree in Science or Engineering
• Open to citizens of any nationality
• Deadline for application: October 18, 2017
