Estoy interesado en los factores que determinan la distribución de los vertebrados terrestres, los gradientes ambientales responsables de los mismos y de su abundancia tanto a lo largo de su área de distribución, con especial interés en las poblaciones marginales y periféricas, como en los procesos de degradación de los hábitats por la acción humana, particularmente en los procesos de fragmentación. Por otro lado también estoy interesado en las adaptaciones morfológicas, fisiológicas y comportamentales que conllevan las distintas estrategias migratorias en aves.
