"Quantum cryptography and non-locality"
Valerio Scarani holds a Ph.D. in experimental solid-state NMR from Ecole
Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne.
From 2000 to 2007, he has worked as a
theorist in the group of Nicolas Gisin, University of Geneva. There, he has
specialized in quantum cryptography, quantum non-locality and in the theoretical
assessment for experimentalists.
In April 2007 he has been appointed Associate
Professor in the National University of Singapore., where he is one of the
principal investigators of the recently established Centre for Quantum
Technologies.
