INTERNATIONAL COMPLUTENSE SEMINAR

Physics of the Early Universe: Recent Advances

Faculty of Physics, U. Complutense de Madrid

September 21th-23th, 2005, Madrid, Spain

PROCEEDINGS (PDF, 17 Mb!)

Program and General Information

Overview

The accurate astrophysical observations available now provide unprecedented information about the Early Universe. This information and the even better forthcoming observations call for renewed efforts to provide precise theoretical predictions. In this context, the aim of this seminar is to constrast recent advances in theoretical predictions with the observational results.

The main topics include: Inflation, Cosmic Microwave Background, Field and String Theory in the Early Universe, Primordial Black Holes, Large Scale Structure Formation and Selfgravitating Systems.

The Seminar is open to all scientist interested in this domain. There are no registration fees. Participants wishing to attend the Seminar should register here.

Organization

Organized in collaboration with the International School Daniel Chalonge.
