MIDE is in charge of taking part in teaching subjects leading to the diplomas of Teaching, Social Education, Speech Therapy, and the degrees of Pedagogy and Psychopedagogy.

MIDE delivers a doctorate programme specialised in enlarging and deepening the candidates' knowledge level in different fields such as advanced research techniques, advanced methods of diagnosis and guidance, evaluation, and so on. By means of this programme MIDE intends that the candidate for the doctor´s degree be able to design and implement a relatively complex research project within the main research trend in the Department, as well as carry out his/her doctoral thesis successfully.

MIDE is a department that has the will, experience and knowledge to guide the educational researchers who are interested in the rational application of research methods pursuing the improvement of the educational practice.
