"Fault-tolerant quantum computation with high threshold in two dimensions"
Abstract:
We present a scheme of fault-tolerant quantum computation with
local and next-neighbor operations in two spatial dimensions. The
fault-tolerance threshold is 0.69% for each source in an error model
with preparation, gate, memory and measurement error. Our scheme
combines the one-way quantum computer with the toric code.
