El nuevo marco creado por la sociedad de la información, en la que la informática juega un papel central, obliga a plantearse nuevos retos en el campo de la ética. Numerosos interrogantes surgen en cada paso y es necesario enfrentarse con situaciones inéditas. Este tercer congreso sobre "Ética y Computadores" ha reunido a especialistas de todo el mundo en Madrid con un gran éxito de participación, tanto por los ponentes como por un público mayoritariamente joven. Con gran celeridad aparece el primer volumen, perteneciente a las salas A y B del Congreso. Queda por publicar un segundo volumen con las ponencias de la tercera sala, fundamentalmente compuesta por los ponentes españoles.
