            The Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is a students' association that began in 1989, almost at the same time as the Erasmus program, with the aim of helping the Erasmus students' integration in the social, cultural and university life of the new country and to make them feel "just like at home". ESN organises activities in which foreign as well as Spanish students participate. These activities are organised by volunteer students, who do not get paid for their work.

            During the year, activities can be organised as the following:

. integration activities: parties and receptions

. trips and excursions in Madrid and in Spain

. cultural activities: films, talks, visits to museums, etc...

. conversation exchanges in order to practice the Spanish language and the students'

. information about the European Union and Mobility Programs in Europe
