The Heritage Language Journal

Heritage
Language Education is fast becoming a field of its own, drawing from research
and practice in linguistics, psychology, and language education. [...] there is
great deal of interest in but little understanding of the issues underlying the
teaching and learning of heritage languages. There is a demonstrable need for a
forum for ongoing discussion among researchers and educators interested in
heritage language acquisition.
The
Heritage Language Journal is published by the Language Resource Center of UCLA
and the UC Consortium for Language Learning and Teaching with support from the
UCLA International Institute and the Division of Social Sciences and Department
of Linguistics at UC San Diego.
