Erasmus students who during their stay at our institution University Complutense want to learn or improve their level of Spanish, will be able to join one of the free Spanish courses for Erasmus students which are taught each semester in the Faculty of Philology at the UCM (Universidad Complutense de Madrid).

All the courses are divided into different levels, fixed according to the Common European Framework of Reference for languages. The level of all the students will be determined at the beginning of each semester by carrying out a compulsory placement test.

However, it is highly recommended for all Erasmus students to have at least the intermediate level B1 before arriving at our institution, in order to obtain a greater academic achievement throughout their whole study period at UCM.

The next Spanish Course will take place during the month of February 2012. Only Erasmus students who are going to study at UCM during the second semester of the academic year 2011/2012 will be able to complete the enrolment process and follow the course. Therefore, the first requirement is to complete the online application form as future Erasmus students at UCM, whose deadline ends on the 30th November 2011.

Furthermore, the application form for the Spanish course has to be completed and sent online before the 13th January 2012.

The exact dates for the enrolment process and the application form to be filled for the Spanish course, which will take place in February 2012, will be published on the website from May 2012.
