Green Chemistry
Interuniversity Postgraduate Program [web
site]
The
Green Chemistry Spanish Network has a regular educational activity
in the form of the Doctorate and Master Green Chemistry Postgraduate
Interuniversity Programs. Both programs have achieved the Quality
Qualification by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science.
The first is already in its fifth edition and a number of its
students have already concluded their PhD thesis. The Master
Program is currently in its second edition. Although most students
are Spanish, some have come from USA, South America and Morocco
Undergraduated disciplines
Organic
Chemistry. Study of the structure and reactivity of organic
compounds.
Medicinal
Chemistry. Design, synthesis and analysis of drugs. Study
of the pharmacological activity at molecular level
Structural
analysis of organic compounds by spectroscopic methodologies.
Application of mass spectrometry, circular dichroism, IR, UV,
visible and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopies to the elucidation
of the structure of the organic compounds.
Biotransformations.
Fundamentals of organic reactions catalyzed by enzymes or whole
cells.
Pharmaceutical
Technology. Information available in the web site of
the Pharmaceutical Technology Department.[clic
