2Eyes Vision is a Spin Off company of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) with
the purpose of creating and developing technologies for visual diagnostics and
corrections. We are seeking a PhD candidate in the field of Visual Optics to work in the
context of an industrial PhD grant funded by the Spanish Ministry of Economy
(Doctorado Industrial).
The candidate will join a young and dynamic environment and will have the opportunity
to work with a highly recognized research laboratory (Visual Optics and Biophotonics
Lab, CSIC) and an outstanding group of national and international collaborators. The
output will have high scientific, clinical and economic impact. After graduation, there
will be opportunities for joining the company staff.

PhD Project
1. R+D activities
2. Product design
3. Exploratory clinical tests and patient management
4. Conceptualization and exploration of new potential products
During the project the candidate will collaborate with the Visual Optics and
Biophotonics Lab of the CSIC, a world-class lab in the field of visual optics
(www.vision.csic.es), and will provide scientific support the R+D director of 2Eyes Vision.

Requirements
1. Optometrist, Physicist or Engineer with scientific interest in visual optics
2. Enrolled in a PhD program for years 2016/2017
3. Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, and interpersonal skills
Conditions
1. Initial 3+1 year contract
2. Possibility of joining an expanding company with a multidisciplinary and
international staff.
3. Salary: 18.000€
