Modality in English is a triennial conference that welcomes papers on any area of linguistic research related to Modality in English, including contrastive / parametric / typological issues.
The fourth edition of the international conference on Modality in English will be held in Madrid, from 9 to 11 September, 2010. Previous conferences were held in Verona (2001), Pau (2004) and Thessaloniki (2007).
