El grupo de investigación Museum I+D+C (Investigación+Desarrollo+Creación), Laboratorio de Cultura Digital y Museografía Hipermedia tiene una dilatada experiencia en investigación, creación y desarrollo de museos y exposiciones: Museo del Libro (Madrid), Museo y Parque Arqueológico Cueva Pintada de Gáldar (Gáldar, Gran Canaria), Museo del Enganche y Museo del Arte Ecuestre (Jerez)… y exposiciones como Soñar el Cine para la Filmoteca Española, 125 años Soñando Caminos para Unicaja o Arte Salvado para la Sociedad Estatal de Conmemoraciones Culturales.

The Research Group Museum I+D+C (Innovation+Development+Creation), Laboratory for the Digital Culture and Hypermedia Museography has extensive experience in the creation and development of museums and exhibitions: The Museum of the Book (Madrid), The Museum and Archaeological Park of the Painted Cave of Gáldar (Gáldar, Canary Islands), The Carriage Museum and the Museum of Equestrian Art (Jerez)... and exhibitions like Dreaming The Cinema for the Spanish Cinematheque, 125 Years Dreaming Paths for Unicaja or Saved Art for the State Society of Cultural Celebrations.

Las investigaciones y creaciones de Museum I+D+C se distinguen por la utilización de tecnologías avanzadas (realidad aumentada, instalaciones multitáctiles y multiusuario, tapices interactivos, simulaciones holográficas, interfaces físicas, interfaces ubicuas, estereoscopía, producción en cine digital 4K…) para lograr una auténtica inmersión interactiva en los contenidos. El museo se convierte así en un verdadero paradigma hipermedia en el que los elementos expresivos tradicionales convergen con las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC).

 The research projects and creative productions of the Group Museum I+D+C are distinguished by the application of advanced technologies, such as augmented reality, multi-touch and multiuser interfaces, interactive canvas and tables, holographic simulations, physical interfaces, ubiquitous interfaces, stereoscopy, 4K film digital productions, etc; in order to achieve an original interactive immersion in the contents. Thus, the museum is transformed in a truthful hypermedia paradigm, where the traditional expressive elements amalgamate with the rich possibilities that the Information Technologies (IT) provide.

El grupo Museum I+D+C lleva a cabo su actividad investigadora en el Departamento de Comunicación Audiovisual y Publicidad II de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Información de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. The UCM Research Group Museum I+D+C develops its research activities at the Advertisement and Audiovisual Communications Department II of the Faculty for Communication and Information Sciences at the Complutense University from Madrid. Las investigaciones básicas y aplicadas de Museum I+D+C. Laboratorio de Cultura Digital y Museografía Hipermedia persiguen aumentar el conocimiento y hacerlo accesible interactivamente. La tecnología está al servicio de los contenidos y se hace invisible para no interferir en la comunicación. Arte, Ciencia, Tecnología, Sociedad y Sostenibilidad al servicio del conocimiento, al servicio de las personas.

 The fundamental and applied research projects developed by the Museum I+D+C, Laboratory for the Digital Culture and Hypermedia Museography, look forward to implement the knowledge and to make it accessible through interactivity. Thus, the technology serves the contents, while making itself invisible in order not to interfere with the communicative processes: Art, Science, Technology, Society and Sustainability serving the knowledge and the people.
