The Office for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities (OIPD) attends directly to the whole university community (students, teachers, administrative and service personnel), providing a space where doubts and needs are addressed and suggestions on how to deliver quality services are welcome.
Its primary functions are: to provide attention, information, and guidance in personal, professional and social spheres; to give information on grants and financial assistance; to assist in planning internship programmes and in offering career advice; and, finally, to carry out awareness-raising activities within the University to ensure that everyone who is a part of the UCM community receives equal treatment.
The OIPD maintains permanent contacts with the secondary studies centres of the Comunidad de Madrid in order to know the necessities of the future students.
Likewise the OIPD helps you in the fulfilment of the examinations for access to the university.
With an individual and personalized interview we will know your necessities and we will inform you of the programs and services provided by the UCM and by other entities. Besides we will put you in contact with the Coordinators that support you in your centre (Facultad or Escuela Universitaria).
